Wrigley is one of Long Beach's first communities. The subdivision, named after William Wrigley of the Wrigley Spearmint Gum Empire, was established in 1905. The Wrigley neighborhood has a community park, Veteran's Park, and is convenient to freeways and the Metropolitan Transportation ride facility for light rail commuters.
